Summary

Roncelli, Inc. performed major facility improvements to the North Power House including renovations and equipment replacement. This most recent upgrade gave a much-needed facelift to the facility.

Roncelli was selected as the general contractor on the project that built out the mezzanine with a new office center and conference room, a complete kitchen and lunch area, an air-conditioned workshop, new restroom/ locker room/ shower room areas and a new and relocated building sub-station.

A large part of this project was the removal and installation of the equipment all while the Plant continued full operation. Three new Daikin model WME 1500- ton Magnitude Centrifugal Chillers were installed with new cooling tower pumps, primary and secondary chilled water pumps, and refurbishment and reduction in the number of our outdoor cooling towers. New Indoor and Rooftop Air Handling Units were placed into service as well as a new roof on the Power House was installed. Renovations were completed early 2019.

Key features included the following:

  • Three 1500 ton Chillers
  • New Cooling Tower Pumps
  • Substation & Switchgear replaced with new 13.8kV Equipment
