Pinnacle Race Course

Before construction of this two-phase development began, 5,000 lineal feet of county and state controlled open watershed drain-way was relocated to the perimeter of the property within three weeks time.  Phase 1 began in the late spring of 2008 and ended with the opening of the facility for horse racing on July 18, 2008.  Construction consisted of a 12,000 sf clubhouse with an adjoining 3,000 sf covered terrace, 15 horse barns totaling 1,450,000 sf, a one mile long dirt track, paved parking for 900 vehicles and temporary facilities for a jockey’s quarters, saddling paddock, grandstands, employee parking and offices for the state racing commission, horse breeders association and Pinnacle’s Racing Secretary.
