Roncelli, Inc. was selected to construct General Motors’ new 2-Story office and test building for their new Driver in the Loop (DiL). The DiL’s 1st Floor consists of a garage, shop, lab area and the 2nd Floor serves as Flex Office space.
This two-story office building is a steel and masonry structure with metal panel and glass exterior skin with a man bridge to the parking area. It has AHU and VAV HVAC system and an elevator.
The scope included new floors, walls, doors, ceilings, HVAC system, lighting panels, receptacles, wiring, and auxiliary systems. Construction activities were coordinated, sequenced and scheduled to minimize disruption to the ongoing adjacent building activities.
Roncelli also furnished conference rooms with new interior finishes, accessories, lighting and audio-video equipment.
