Fisher Corporation Stamping Facility

The Fisher Corporation chose Roncelli, Inc. to build a new 78,000 square foot stamping plant on a 12-acre site in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The new facility employs state-of-the-art stamping operations, all housed in a new 68,500 square foot manufacturing and warehousing building that has a 50′ eave height, with 80′ clear span bays, two 40 ton cranes, one 30 ton crane, a 180 foot long / 15 foot deep press pit containing four press’ up to 1,200 tons in size, large scrap conveyor system, material handling truck dock area, interior and exterior truck scales, etc. In addition to the manufacturing area, there is a chip handling building and a 7,000 square foot office area including computerized quality control equipment and training facilities. Construction consisted of cast in place concrete foundations, pre-engineered structural steel, insulated metal siding and roof, heavy-duty reinforced concrete floors, high bay lighting, overhead hi-lift doors with a truck dock and shipping-receiving area.
