Roncelli and Andiamo Italia Restaurants have developed a strong relationship over the years, based upon a solid understanding of how a fine dining establishment should be built. The construction of the Andiamo Italian Bistro on Hall Road in Sterling Heights was no exception to that understanding.
The building’s exterior split stone, wood and canvas awning accents are married with interior finishes that include generous treatments of even more split stone, wall to wall murals, hand rubbed teak and walnut millwork, exposed beam ceilings, custom copper and brass light fixtures and deep plush carpet that all worked together to communicate the Tuscany theme of the restaurant. Sunflowers are everywhere; appearing in every mural, as large light diffusers on the foyer chandeliers, as fresh cut flowers in the multitude of pots and vases, on the bar’s wine cooler doors and even trimming the leather bound menu folders.
Although the restaurant provides seating for well over 270 patrons, the dining experience is quite intimate. The use of half high separation walls, lattice and cut glass screening, hidden booths, separate meeting areas and multilevel ceilings provides opportunities for close family fellowship and discrete romance. For those seeking after dinner entertainment, the wood and leather trimmed lounge features top notch talent on a cozy platform fronting the hand carved circular wood bar.
Andiamo Italian Bistro shines brightly as one of the precious jewels of the Hall Road business corridor.
